Health & Wellness Program: Fitness Focus
A healthy community and workforce accomplishes more. The Chamber’s Health & Wellness Committee focuses on providing opportunities for education, collaboration and access to resources that support health and wellness with special attention to how that impacts the economy as a whole. Currently, the Committee is presenting monthly Health & Wellness Programs for the community.
April 21, 2021 – Health & Wellness: Fitness Focus – Still Got It, Don’t Let Age Change You, Change The Way You Age
The Lomita Chamber is hosting a health and wellness educational program featuring Bruno Perron, Owner of Still Got It Fitness.
Join us as Bruno shares information about how the latest science is changing everything we know about aging and fitness, and the good news is we have a lot more control than we’ve known. In this presentation, you’ll discover how brain and body activities can help you enjoy an active lifestyle for another 30 to 50 years.
Bruno Perron has been a personal fitness trainer for over 31 years, with over 34,000 individual training sessions to his credit. Bruno’s formal education includes a BA in physical activity from University of Ottawa and a MS degree pending) in Kinesiology from University of Sherbrooke. Bruno’s experience also includes having been part of the program responsible for structuring and administering the strength and conditioning program of the Montreal Canadien hockey club and their affiliate in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Bruno also holds certifications from the American Council of Exercise, the Functional Aging Institute and the Red Cross CPR program, which were directly responsible for Bruno saving the life of a patron by using a defibrillator.
This will be a very informative session.
